Kid's Corner
The
Rocky Mountain Toy Train Show's Kid's Corner is a haven for parents
and their children to experience the joys of toy trains together.
Activities have been designed for kids of all ages to participate
with their parents and begin a lifelong hobby.
 Build-A-Layout
Kids and parents work together to build an
operating toy train layout with accessories.
When the layout is finished on Sunday, it will be given away with a
brand new train set in our Grand Prize Drawing!
Crossover
Train Races
Kids race trains against each other through an
X-shaped race course - crashes and derailments
abound!
 Hands-on
Accessory Layout
Kids try their hand at toy train operating
accessories. Watch your children master switching,
loading and unloading tasks.
Hands-on
Layouts with YMR
Kids learn to run model trains with the folks
from the Youth in Model Railroading organization.
